I am Natusha Croes, a multidisciplinary artist from Aruba, working under the name CARICIA. My practice moves between sound, performance, and visual art, weaving together Caribbean traditions, contemporary experimentation, and personal storytelling.

Through my work I explore the body as an instrument of memory, intuition, and transformation. I often draw inspiration from ancestral rhythms, natural elements, and everyday rituals, translating them into sonic landscapes, installations, and performances that invite collective reflection and intimacy.

CARICIA means “caress” in Spanish—a word that captures the gentle but powerful essence I seek to embody in my art: tender gestures that carry deep emotional resonance, small acts that open larger conversations about identity, belonging, and healing.

Over the years, I have collaborated with musicians, designers, and cultural collectives across the Caribbean and beyond, creating works that blur the boundaries between music, ritual, and contemporary art. My latest project, O, is a multidisciplinary album and performance series developed with producer Darwin Winklaar, bringing together local creatives and international collaborators in a shared exploration of sound and spirit.

Whether on stage, in the studio, or within community spaces, I see art as a meeting point—a way to connect the visible and invisible, the personal and collective, the ancestral and the future.
